Ease, elegant and delicious!  Use homemade piecrust if you’re one of those pie bakers—it could only be better.

  • 2 refrigerated piecrusts

  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 2 tbs. honey

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

  • ˝ cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp. shortening

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Place one crust on ungreased cookie sheet.  Mix nuts, sugar, honey, cinnamon and lemon juice.  Spread over dough.  Seal edges with fork tines, prick dough.  Brush with milk and sprinkle with some extra sugar.  Bake 15-20 minutes or until light brown.  Cool 10 minutes.  Cut into wedges.

Melt chocolate chips and shortening together over low heat or in microwave.  Drizzle or pipe over cooled wedges.  Makes 16-20 wedges.  Yum!
